When you set up your profile, you define the areas you cover — either by entering specific postcodes, towns, or a radius from your business address. When a homeowner submits a job request, our system checks their location against your catchment area. If it matches, the lead is automatically emailed to you in real time.

Can I change my catchment area after signing up?

Yes, absolutely. You can update your catchment area at any time from your profile dashboard. Changes take effect immediately, so if you want to expand or reduce your coverage area, you can do so whenever you need to.

How do enquiries work on the paid plans?

On the Professional and Elite plans, enquiries matching your catchment area are included as part of your monthly subscription. On the Basic Listing (free) plan, you have the option to pay per lead. On the Elite plan, there are no monthly caps and you receive first-priority matching.

Are the leads exclusive to me?

Leads are matched to all roofers whose catchment area covers the job location. However, Elite plan members receive first-priority matching, meaning the lead is sent to Elite members before Professional or Basic Listing members in the same area.

Is there a contract or minimum term?

No. All plans are month-to-month with no minimum contract. You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard. If you choose annual billing, you pay upfront for 12 months at a discounted rate, but you can still cancel and receive a pro-rata refund.

How do I get verified on FixMyRoof?

When you sign up, our team will check your public liability insurance, relevant trade qualifications, and Companies House or sole trader registration. The process typically takes 1–2 business days. Once verified, your profile displays the FixMyRoof Verified badge.

Can I try the Professional plan before committing?

Yes. The Professional plan includes a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel at any point during the trial with no obligation.

What types of roofing jobs does FixMyRoof cover?

We cover all residential roofing work including flat roofs (EPDM, GRP, felt), pitched roofs (tiles, slates), chimneys, fascias and soffits, guttering, roof windows, and emergency repairs. You can specify your specialisms on your profile so leads are matched accordingly.
